Income Tax Preparer / Bookkeeper
Dickey and Tremper, LLP opening for a full time position to help with preparation of income taxes, bookkeeping, and payroll support. We are looking for a person that is interested in public accounting with a strong desire to advance their skills and knowledge. Our firm operates year round and provides income tax services, bookkeeping, payroll, financial statement preparation, auditing, and retirement plan services. Starting pay will be based on qualifications and experience and includes a bonus incentive program.

Desired skills and experience include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required is preferred but can be substituted by applicable experience.
- Individual and business income tax experience.
- Ability to work as a team and to make suggestions to enhance processes and procedures.
- Good judgement and decision making ability.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and to work within budgetary and time constraints.
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with income tax software (ProSystem FX Tax preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with auditing software and tools. (CCH ProSystem Engagement and Checkpoint tools preferred)
